background iOS audio

  • Subject: background iOS audio

Sorry if this has been asked/answered before:

When I set the "UIBackgroundModes" key in my Info.plist file, I'm able to get background audio happening if I am using Audio Units (RemoteIO in particular) for my audio playback. However, it doesn't seem to work using Audio Queues. Is there a restriction, or do I need to somehow thread my Audio Queue code (maybe Audio Units are already threaded appropriately)?
