"Wrapped" AU failing Render test in Mavericks (Logic 10)

Hi all,

Sorry for cross-posting, but this is regarding an AudioUint that is "wrapped" using the auwrapper in the VST3 SDK, so I don't know which resource might lead to a solution.

My plug-in is failing the Render tests in Logic 10's AU validation in OS X 10.9, although it passes validation in the same version of Logic in OS X 10.8.5. The error code returned is -4 (from call AudioUnitRender), but I have no idea what that error means. I can find no listing of that error code anywhere.

I am unable to debug in Mavericks at the moment, because I can't build in Xcode 4.4 on OS X 10.9, due to problems with lipo (which I can fix) and with ibtool (which I have NOT been able to fix) when building my plug-in there. And I cannot update to Xcode 5 at this time, either, because of 3rd-party software our builds require that is not ready for Xcode 5 yet.

Has anyone out there seen this error, and know what might cause it on OS X 10.9 but NOT on 10.8?

Thanks,
	Howard
