IOSyncer Deprecated. Replacement?

  • Subject: IOSyncer Deprecated. Replacement?
  • From: "Duane Murphy" <email@hidden>

Recompiling my kext for Leopard has revealed that IOSyncer is entirely
deprecated.

Is there a replacement? What should be done instead?

It appears that IOStorage still necessarily uses IOSyncer, so it can't
be too far gone. :-)

Thanks,

 ...Duane
