I will try.
But, what I am trying to do needs to be done in a
driver for many reasons. Basically, needs to get the
CPU state (plus many other things) on a particular
interrupt. Doing it from an application will not give
a precise state.
So, in effect needs to get the (IA32e) state of the
CPU when a 64-bit application is running using a
32-bit Kernel.
