until you can upgrade, you may try restarting the VPN service from the command line:


sudo /System/Library/StartupItems/CiscoVPN/CiscoVPN restart

this usually does the trick for me.



I'm running 4.6.03 also, and I created the attached script so I don't have to try and remember the above command.

There's probably a way to create an AppleScript to execute this command as part of the VPN Client startup, but haven't taken the time to figure it out yet.
