If the application really has "nothing to do with Windows", then something
like WINE might be a better solution than a virtual machine. WINE doesn't
need the whole OS. And, I think I saw that the open source community is now
working on a WINE port for Apple, since the Apple OS is now running on an
Intel processor. (In true recursive GNU fashion, WINE stands for "W_ine I_s
N_ot an E_mulator".)
