The ActivCard USB 2.0 reader can be reflashed with the standard SCR331
firmware using the Windows firmware updater, the same as updating the
firmware on a SCR331.  I suspect that doing so would void your warranty,
so proceed at your own risk.

That could be one of the ActivCard readers; I've got a couple that
used the SMC STC-II chip but a completely different firmware stream.
They've always been a PITA.
