I am making another brave attempt at submitting a request for a MacBook Pro at work and would appreciate any ideas/examples/verbiage/templates you can offer along those lines (including statistics of how and where theya re used in Army/DoD). Apparently just saying "Windows is crap." will not suffice. ;o)
My difficulty is that I mainly want it for accessiblility purposes but those can technically be met (though at more expense and clunkier in my opinion) by WIndows machines/softawre. I also want to make the point that in my position of Knowledge Management Officer I need to access equipment and software for testing (OFF the network) and that a Windows-only organization violates protocol of giving the appearance of favoritism to one vendor. Feel free to shoot me down at any of these points but give me a better one when you do. ;o)
Thanks.
PS I have a MacBook Pro at home and 2 Iphones. Official justification for an Iphone would be another plus as, especially with its accessibility features, I can use mine for a lot of things that would be useful for official business and do things on my Iphone I can't do easily even on the desktop.
Paul
