Lets not forget that the app store draconian rules will also come in
to play.. I wrote a Google Voice app for the iPhone when Google Voice
first came out... there it sits, still in review... it even made
national news (this was before I became Fed again, for
clarification).. there are many more apps that didnt make it was well
that were not related to Google Voice.
for a company that likes to show "independent spirit" they sure don't
do it on the app store.... "write apps, and as long as we like it, its
ok..."
And the "level of quality" argument doesnt come into play, out of the
150K apps on the app store, 90% are crap...
On the computer front though, you cant pry my Mac from me...
tablets... well I've seen some great ones... phones, the iPhone was
winner hands down, until Android 2.0 came out.. it even connects to
iTunes... Android 2.1 and Nexus One came out, and now my iPhone sits
in my car as an ipod. I hope apple keeps the Mac (computer) end up,
because it truly is my favorite apple product now...
