Mike,
Thanks for the response. I tried a TrendNet TU2-ETG adapter and did
not install any additional drivers. The console logs show
"AppleUSGGigEthernet" for this adapter. I ran through the test and
while it did not "disconnect" the USB Gigabit Adapter in the Network
Preferences and did not show the driver closing the device in the
console logs, it did break networking. I was testing this by pinging
the gateway of my router. Got responses to ping, plugged the card in,
then the responses started timing out.
Which USB adapter were you using that actually worked?
