Thanks for the hint,
I just tried this utility, but unfortunately it does not show anything - no errors,no warnings, no nothing.
Is there any other way what I could possibly do wrong with my maps?
Note I believe they are fine, because Linux automounter can read them correctly.
Can you point me to some documentation (your previous email seems to be unfinished, you were referring to something).

Ondrej,
You can use /System/Library/Extensions/autofs.kext/Contents/Resources/dumpammap
to display the contents of any automounter map obtained via OpenDirectory. It uses
the same code as the automounter to access and display the map contents. If you
don't see anything then the problem is likely your OpenDirectory configuration.
If you have an auto_master map accessed via LDAP then you can use this script
to show all the LDAP maps it refers to:
