I see the option in the Package Flags when I control click the

For 10.4 packages it seems to be IFPkgFlagFollowLinks in the
Info.plist.
In 10.5 my symlinks are clobbered so I'm trying to find out where
this is set. Or is this a massive bug with 10.5 packages?
I haven't seen any option for this with FLAT packages (the only one
I know is overwrite-permissions which is not supported by
PackageMaker).
I would have thought this option was turned on by default because
when you try to install something into /tmp, it's correctly
installed in /private/tmp/. This would require testing what happens
if you install a tmp folder with a file inside it in /.
It looks like the issue I'm seeing is only if you try to embed a non-
flat package into a flat package distribution. In that case the
symlinks get blasted.
