I'm thinking not, and it probably shouldn't. From what I can tell,
this is semantically equivalent to calling sudo in a shell (and may
well be what it does inside for real, but I don't know all the ins and
outs). An "admin user" is effectively a user in the sudoers file or
equivalent to one, but you still need to authenticate yourself before
doing something sudo-ey.
