To see what's going wrong, you can try this:
1. Select the .app in the payload hierarchy
2. Ctrl + Click and choose Reveal in Finder
This should allow you to check that the project is pointing to the
right instance of your application.
If it seems OK, then build and run your project. Then from
Installer.app, choose File > Show Files… . This will help you check
that the files have been correctly added to the package payload.
