Changing service order on Mac OS X 10.1

I need to be able to change the service order within a set on Mac OS X 10.1. I.e. one device needs to be placed at the top of the "Active Network Ports" list in the Network pane of System Preferences.

I've given MoreSCF a quick look because it's been an absolute lifesaver for other tasks, but nothing jumped out at me.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
