The "Location Menu" uses the "/usr/sbin/scselect" command to change locations. This command does not require authentication (it is setUID==0).

Is there a way to change the current "Location" in OS X without being

it work?

Presently I am using the SystemConfiguration Framework, but this requires
authentication.

Thanks for any ideas.
