Hi Thomas,
i think i've almost the same problem as yours, i'll like to be
notified each time a tcp-syn packet is sent. After a few mail and
search, it seems that NKE is the best solution, but it looks to
complicate for me (not enougth sample code, can't find tcplogger one)
so i've tried using tcpdump i think you migth have a look at it, maybe
it can help you.
Hope that help
Vincent
PS: if someone have a better way to do it, it'll be with pleasure :¬)

What version of Mac OS X are you targetting?
Do you care about sockets created by kernel code?
What are you using this information for?
It's very unlikely that you'll be able to get this information in a
reliable way (that is, a way that will get all sockets and be binary
compatible with future versions of Mac OS X). However, if you can
give me a little background about the big picture, I might be able to
offer some suggestions.
