Last I checked, most programs use the proxy information returned by
System Configuration framework's SCDynamicStoreCopyProxies routine.
What does that return for your setup?
SCDynamicStoreCopyProxies gets the proxy dictionary from the key
"State:/Network/Global/Proxies" in the SCF dynamic store. This value
is placed there by the IP configuration agent. I believe that it
always applies the proxy dictionary of the primary interface.
