i haven't found any special info on daemons - could you hint on how
should i specially be "nice" to them, in opposite to user-session
networking applications?

Peter, could you please give a few keywords, for me to search using
what to implement that sophistication? I find these things useful,
maybe not for this application, but perhaps for others - if debugged
well, it sounds to be much more easy for the end user.
