Hi Mike,
Thanks for posting. I'm repurposing another email that I received, but it has proven to be a pretty useful app. There are solutions like Dropbox, SugarSync, Windows Live, Google Drive, etc. But from a peer-to-peer file transfer solution, this one is getting some kudos. I'm sure others will chime in with some other alternatives.

This is a $1.99 app that allows you to do a ton of transferring of files from computer to iOS and iOS to computer (Mac or PC) - and even iOS to iOS. It takes a few minutes to get comfortable with transferring over WiFi.
But, if you want to move large movies, you could easily use the iTunes app sync option - to move the movies over quickly (only works with transferring to the Apple Configurator station). Just shoot the movies like you always have using the Camera app, then, launch the WiFileSync app - and import the movie into this app, using the media tab at the bottom of the app. Then, connect the iPad to the AC station - and go to iTunes and find the iOS device that has the movie. Then, go to the Apps section of that iOS device, and go all the way to the bottom and find the WiFileSync app - and select it. Then, you will see your movies and photos and you can select it and choose to save it to your computer - and it will transfer it over USB. Once it is on the AC station, you can transfer it from there, however you would like.

Our teachers' iPads, however, are supervised via Configurator such that they cannot sync to their classroom or home PCs. What's the best way for them to get media from a PC desktop onto their iPads?
