I’ve had a lot of trouble with exactly the same thing. I spent days working with enterprise support. Eventually, they refunded my VPP account for the ones that wouldn’t work. Good luck. Chery
Hi All,
I've run into a snag with VPP redemption and I thought I'd see if anyone else has and how to fix it.
I purchased 25 copies each of 2 different apps. I then tried to put them on my set of 25 iPads (in groups of 5 or 10 – USB hub syncing setup). Everything looked
right (app counts decreasing as expected) until I got to the last set. AppleConfigurator (1.4.2) fails with errors on the last sync. It won’t apply 3 licenses for one app and 2 for the other.
The license counts in AC stand at 3 and 2 for these apps, but it won’t install those licenses onto my iPads. I did remove them all – and the count went back
to 25 for each. Then I tried to re-install them all and the count still stops at 3 for one app and 2 for the other.
I have emailed VPP support but heard nothing back yet.
Has anyone else had this problem arise? I’ve attached screenshots of the AC license tracking window.
TIA.
