Pretty simple really. An order has one or more items to it. For
example, if you go into a shop you buy a tin of beans and a loaf of
bread, not only do you have a tasty snack, but you also have an order
with 2 items on it.
When I did the Fortnum & Mason site, I started by looking at the
PetStore example, but apart from the principles involved, it didn't
help me much. Real commerce sites tend to be more complex. YMMV...

G'day to y'all,
I'm onto the project of adding some e-commerce to my apps and I've
been looking at WebObjects PetStore Example, from what I see, I can
follow what is going on and ultimatley understand all the code but one
thing is baffling me: "What is the LineItem table/entity doing?" I
don't understand the link between the Order table/entity and the Item
table/entity.
If some one could explain it's purpose I should be well away to get on
with this. I just can't see it for looking at it.
