Exactly. If they are using an ISP to forward mail through the ISP's SMTP
server. They may not be, Mdaemon for example will send directly to the
receiving domain's own mail server if possible. I don't know how many mail
servers do that, but I know some definitely do not and would need to relay
the mail through a legitimate SMTP server (of an ISP usually).
