Does anyone use 4th Dimension

I'm new to WebObjects, well I haven't actually started yet, I'm just
deciding whether to use it for my next project. I've been looking at the
various DBMS and things like Openbase and Frontbase seem a little highly
priced for my initial needs especially when you can use MySQL for free BUT
I'm not overly keen on using MySQL so I wondered if anyone was using or had
used 4D, they have a JDBC driver etc.. and are reasonably priced.
I'm looking to use it for a web application.
