I don't believe EOF is going away. My understanding is EOF/WOF are
alive and well. But, because EOF access via Obj-C doesn't exist
anymore, Core Data has been created. Once again, my understanding, as I
am not at WWDC.
My comment on EOF being killed referred to it no longer being available
for Desktop apps (which happened a couple years ago). Not it being
dropped entirely...THAT would be cause for a major alarm (and a bus
full of psychiatrists being sent to Cupertino).
