Erwin,

If you bind 'hotspot' to an action, the hotspot will call that action in
your WO app.

For reference:
HOTSPOTn="url" (optional...requires QuickTime 3 or later)
This attribute enables clicking on a hotspot with the specified ID in a VR
panorama to take the user to the specified URL.  n is the hotspot ID as
defined when the hot spot is created in the QuickTime VR authoring tools.

You can use TargetN to target a hotspot URL to a frame or window, or to the
special targets "quicktimeplayer" or "myself".


If you'd like to have more than one hotspot, look at how I've implemented
the qtNext array, or add the bindings by hand (i.e. hotspot1, hotspot2,
etc.).
