Actually, I'm kind-of getting used to OpenBase, but doing it on someone
else's dime; it's not SQL, but it looks very similar ;) I like FrontBase
(which I used for my personal stuff) a lot. My only two gripes about it --
and they really are very minor things -- are:
* Lack of a good SQL92 reference -- there are tons of Oracle or WinSQL (or
whatever it's called) etc., books, but few SQL92 ones, and the ones out
there are a bit ... unwieldy.
* I wish I knew a way to launch their sql92 tool with a script, so that I
could alias shortcuts to launch the tool and immediately connect to this or
that db.
Still, FrontBase rocks -- and you can't beat the price of the dev license!
Their support staff is responsive, too! :)
