Hi Lachlan,
Generally speaking, no. The only option these days for developing
against WebObjects 5.0 is to install an old copy of OS X 10.1 and a WO
5.0 license and pretend it's still 2001. The API has changed
significantly between WO 5.2 and 5.0, and they're totally incompatible.
In the end, it's probably a good thing because 5.0 was rather ridden
with bugs. You don't want to go there.
Best of luck,
Colin

I'm looking at doing support and development on a large WO site that is
running at 5.0.2; however, my tools will be new and therefore 5.2.3.
Is it even possible for me to develop at 5.2.3 and deploy at 5.0, and
are there any other issues here that I need to be aware of generally?
Many thanks
Lachlan Scott
