Just checking to see if someone has some tips, especially since I don't
think this is documented anywhere (and no, the code itself can't be
considered enough documentation by any reasonable stretch).
I don't come to the mailing list as a 'last resort' to solving problems
with any product. I like the discussion and tips/tricks I get from
other users. We don't all work in a vacuum.

ERXPatcher adds a </img> tag after the image. From the definition,
this is
correct, but "may" cause problems with older browsers.
You can easily patch the related sources in the appropriate classes
to
create the image tag as you expect it.
