Interesting.

That closing </img> should be fine for me but I'm not getting it. I must be doing something wrong...

I have ERExtensions in my project and I added:

er.extensions.ERXPatcher.cleanupXHTML=true

To my properties file. Is there any other 'trick' to this?

ERXPatcher adds a </img> tag after the image. From the definition, this is
correct, but "may" cause problems with older browsers.


You can easily patch the related sources in the appropriate classes to
create the image tag as you expect it.
