How can I add those templates? I'm learning WO, and I found out that the Java generation is not working...
I will suggest that you ignore Java generation from EOModeler and use this instead:
It is _much_ superior to what you get from EOModeler.
BTW, I think it's great that the dev tools are now free, because it will allow a lot of people (specially students like myself) to try and learn WO. WO is, by far, the most simple, powerful and comprehensive web app framework I ever used (that includes .NET and struts, some LISP frameworks, etc). I honestly do not understand why Apple does not turn the spotlight :) to WO, so that it starts to be used by more and more people. They really should.
We'd all love for them to do that, but Apple is a hardware company focused on profit not software evangelism. They spend their marketing efforts on the real profit centers like the iPod, iTunes music store, Mac hardware etc. Promoting WO would not make them a significant amount of money.
Did you rather mean that in Apple's marketing perception it would not make them a significant amount of money? I think it would make them a lot of money because many more companies would deploy on Apple hardware.
This is just an assertion of course. Alas as Deming points out, people who climb the ladder in corporations are focussed on measurables, because that is what looks good on their next performance review. If a marketer sells (for free) WO he gets nothing, but the guy who has just sold 3,000 platforms because that is what is used to run WO gets all the credit. What they need to realise is that measurable effects flow on from immeasurables (and the iPod comes to mind as an example).
