The frameworks copy just perfectly, even preserving those cute Version/Current/A symlinks that XCode makes, but applications will not copy. ARD reports:

"Failed to communicate with 1 of 1 computers. Didn't copy "netdb.woa" ....

Might this be due to a lack of write permissions?

$ ls -ld /Library/Frameworks /Library/WebObjects/Applications
drwxrwxr-x 41 root admin 1394 Jun 1 11:16 /Library/Frameworks
drwxr-xr-x 2 root admin 68 Apr 12 15:01 /Library/WebObjects/ Applications

Note that root is the only user with write permissions to /Library/ WebObjects/Applications whereas any admin user can write to /Library/ Frameworks. Does ARD run as root on remote systems?

Aloha,
Art
