No, I had my deployment machine on my local network. I just moved the whole server to the server farm. I didn't change anything but the Network IP address from dhcp to a manually set one after moving it.

Thanks,
Jeff

Yep, that was it of course. Thanks! My only question now is, why was it working when hooked to my home network? I could even get to it from the outside using port forwarding on my router.

Because your development configuration is different from what is on the deployment machine.

It's that time of year. I just setup my server at the colo site, so of course it has a new IP. I booted it up and everything looked good. I tried to start my app from Monitor, but it dies. I look in the webobjects error log and the normal application log, and there are no errors, it looks like everything started up correctly, although I did get a couple of warnings in webobjects.err:

You are referencing er.extensions.ERXPatternLayout but should use er.extensions.logging.ERXPatternLayout instead
Feb 20 14:33:53 N/A[N/A] (ERXLogger.java:211) INFO org.apache.log4j.Logger - Updated the logging configuration with the current system properties.
Feb 20 14:33:53 netBrackets[N/A] (ERXNSLogLog4jBridge.java:43) WARN NSLog - The maximum number of WOWorkerThreads is very low; this could lead to dropped or refused connections
Feb 20 14:33:53 netBrackets[2003] (_PBXProjectWatcher.java:532) ERROR com.webobjects._ideservices._PBXProjectWatcher - Cannot use rapid turnaround. Please start Project Builder and open the project for this application.

When I try to bring up my site, I get The requested application was not found on this server.

I try to restart it again, and I get the socket is in use. What is it I've forgotten to do that is required when your IP address changes? The host is setup as 127.0.0.1.

The host should be the primary IP on that machine NOT the loopback address.

Type hostname at the command line to get the correct name.
