But this is not standard X, this is Aqua and it will be used by
Macintosh users who have never used X before.
Having a menu saying "Paste" which is not active is VERY confusing.

As far as the FAQ goes, there are NONE. Or at least I was not able to
find them as many others seem.

There's no archive or FAQ to search so how should I find this?

Well if you are used to swiss german keyboard and you have to type in
US keyboard, I can tell you it is definitively unusable as often used
items like | or ~ or / or & can not be found anymore. A simple
preferences settings, is what one would expect from a Apple software.
Otherwhise we could simply remove aqua and run X directly. The whole
goal to bring X on to the MacOS X is to give MacOS users the power of X
applications while retaining the ease of use of MacOS. otherwise they
should buy a Linux box or a Sun.
