1. Apple's X11 is not faster than the latest version of XDarwin (compiled from cvs at xfree86.org).

Does it mean LyX will render pages as fast as Apple's X11? And that PyMOL will rotate molecules as fasf as well?

In the end, does the new XDarwin include the same -or better ;)- OpenGL acceleration than Apple's X11?

Is the fink-provided XDarwin the same than the one compiled from cvs at xfree86.org?

I'm eagerly awaiting for answers.

BTW. Thanks Martin for all your kind help both here and in the fink-beginners list!!
