Hi,
as a novice to X11, I installed the German keybtable as described in
several articles in this news-group. However, the keytable
'Deutsch.keymapping' seems to be a little bit outdated - at least with
my G4 PMac: while the 'y', 'z' and '@' are displayed correctly, the
'Euro_Sign' as well as the the diacriticals 'D', 'V' an '\' aren't.
There must exist another keymap because in normal mode (MacOS and tcsh)
all these signs are displayed in the right way, but I didn't succeed in
finding it.
/etc/X11/xkb/symbols/macintosh/de is a correct keymap but it's
impossible to use it because of a 'not matching magical number'.
Is there anybody who can help?
Regards Jochen
