Okay. BTW, why use HTTP access control mechanisms to prevent spam
harvesting, rather than just mangling email addresses on publically-visible
archives? Then you could just use Google for the search functionality
anyway.

I saw that, but it doesn't really answer the question... does that happen
before csh.login or after? Does csh.login append to that path, or does it
get overwritten? etc.

I'm not talking about the window manager, I'm talking about the server. I
prefer XDarwin's setup where it always raises all X windows when it gets
application focus, as this is much more compatible with my particular
window manager configuration.

working right was the last thing after a long day of an unfunny comedy of
errors.
