Hi all.
I'm trying to install system-xfree86 using fink commander. The first
time I did it, I was told that /sbin wasn't in my path
so, I su'd, and added
setenv PATH "${PATH}:/sbin:"
to root's .cshrc in /private/var/root/
Now, I go back to fink, and try install system-xfree86 again. I get:
----
Reading Package Lists...
Building Dependency Tree...
The following NEW packages will be installed:
system-xfree86
0 packages upgraded, 1 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
Need to get 0B/2836B of archives. After unpacking 0B will be used.
----
What the heck does this mean... did it install? or not?! It says it
_will be installed, but it doesn't seem to say that it actually _was
installed.
Have I done everything correctly?
Thanks!
Markian
PS: don't get me started on how helpful the messages were when it
failed the first time! :)
