Unfortunately, I cannot tell you how to re-disable the root login, but
a bit of googling would most likely turn it up.
I actually filed a bug report on this, as once you've used passwd to
set the root password, then you cannot disable the account using
NetInfo. I think I manually modified /etc/passwd to set root's password
to * in order to disable the root login.
