Have been running X Windows on a 1 GHZ Tibook for the last 2 years or so ( ie since 10.2 days) and been using OroborOSx as the windows manager quite successfully.
Today I tried running my 2 x X11 applications using the X 11 app installed by Tiger.
rdesktop started successfully using my "expect" script - ie much the same as under Panther
however - when I started my second expect script (to start Alcatel / Newbridge MGT System - 5620) I saw the following error message in the console log:
AUDIT TUE MAY 3 XX:XX:XX 2005:8402 XDarwin: client 2 rejected from IP 192.168.104.133 port 37606
now - my "expect" script is set to emulate an 'Exceed start" script - ie XHOST / setenv DISPALY XX.XX.XX.XX:1.0.. etc and is pretty well bullet proof ..
The only difference i can pick up is:
1. Orobor calls 4.3.99 2. Tiger X11 calls: 4.4.0
Any one got any ideas
(Fire wall ports open: 6000 - 6010)
"Clean install"on an empty partition, migrate wizard used to bring across all my settings ...
