This list has been a little slow lately, so I decided to post. I've been an
X11 newbie for a few years now. I use Apple's X11 when I want the
Applications menu and I use XDarwin when I want to run X11 full screen.
I can launch the ImageMagick GUI by opening a terminal window and typing in
"/sw/bin/display". Is there anything that I can enter into the Command field
in for a menu item in Apple's X11 Applications menu that will have the same
effect?
When I launch XDarwin into Gnome Desktop, I get these two errors. Gnome
works a little, but there aren't any apps in the apps menu.
Unable to open desktop file applications:///nautilus.desktop for panel
launcher: Error reading file 'applications:///nautilus.desktop': Unsupported
operation
Unable to open desktop file applications:///System/gnome-terminal.desktop
for panel launcher: Error reading file
'applications:///System/gnome-terminal.desktop':
What can I do to fix those errors.
My cursor has been funny since I cleanly installed Fink and X11 on my Intel
Mac. It looks a little like a white arrow, but doesn't indicate precisely
where the cursor is. I supect it's some kind of mask image I'm seeing. How
can I change the cursor in XDarwin?
Thanks.
