see that Fink Commander and the Macintel Fink does not indicate an
available binary for the packaged items as it does on a MacPPC.
That makes sense to me because I would assume the net available
binary versions are yet to be made. I have used Fink in this way
to install/compile from source on the Macintel the libraries
required by another application not available via Fink. That
application I compiled next from source without Fink on the
Macintel and it runs just fine. So did I create a real Mcintel of
this app or have I totally missed the boat?
What about Darwinports?
