I was looking at the incredible options on the new Dual Intel Mac Pro models.  I noticed you can stuff four nVidia cards in there.  I am working on code written for Linux and it's command line but uses the graphics card as a GPU to render images into a file.
My question is, how does this look to a GPU programmer in X11 world?  Is it split into multiple displays, or does it present one huge frame buffer, or what?
