Subject: Inverting x11 colors in Leopard
Hello,
I like my xterms to have white text and black letters. Pre-leopard,
I just changed the "xterm" command which was attached to Cmd-N to be "xterm
-fg white -bg black," but in Leopard, this no longer launches anything.
I also changed my .Xresources to include the first two lines of
.xterm*foreground: white
.xterm*background: black
...but that doesn't change either the first or subsequent xterms. Any
suggestions?
Get rid of the leading '.' on each line. Then restart X11.app.
In order for cmd-n to start xterms with these resources set, you need
to upgrade Xquartz, there are posts from the past few days covering the
hows and wheres of this.
