Wow thanks for pointing this out, Spaces is a total basket case with X11. This needs to be fixed real quick. Surprisingly enough the sort of power users who use X11 are the same sort of power users who use features like Spaces. In fact I've been using virtual desktops on Mac for the last 4 years, so was hoping that Spaces would make the various hacky methods of doing this work better on Macs.


Right now Spaces/X11 combo is basically unusable, so I'll have to stick with a Tiger/Desktop Manager combo for work for now.
