That might be the pbproxy trying to connect... it should try a few
(10?) times before it gives up.
That hapened some lines before the above quoted stuff.
What I've found is that there has been a change (regression?) in the
way the xauth cookies are identified: my machine may be connected via
DSL or via cellular modem (due to flaky phone wiring) and its hostname
changes depending on which is in use --- which means my xauth cookies
often end up being for the wrong hostname. I'm not sure what changed
here, but it was working more reliably before 2.3.2rc4.
