Yes, this is most likely the case. It should be as simple as doing this in their code:


if(! try to connect to X server)
   start the x server

instead of
   start the x server

In fact, they can look at the code for our X11.app to see how to do that, since that is exactly what X11.app does:

I've heard about problems with nxclient in leopard before, but I don't use it... So pass this on to the developers and invite them to join us in the xquartz-dev mailing list if they need help.
