Did you ever install the updates from http://xquartz.macosforge.org,
or is this 100% from Software Update?

Hi-
I'm wanting to upgrade from OSX Leopard 10.5 to 10.5.3, but the
upgrade
seems to break X11. After the upgrade X11 will try to start after
being
launched, but will exit immediately (exit code 0). Launchd will
occasionally try to bring it back up every so often, but it'll only
stay
running for less than a second before it disappears again. Again, I'm
fairly sure the upgrade was what broke X, but it's also possible that
something that was installed immediately after the upgrade caused the
failure as well.
Can anyone confirm that this isn't a problem specific to this
particular machine, and suggest a fix that doesn't require staying
with
the stock install of 10.5?
Since this is the stock version of X11, it's compiled without
debugging
symbols, but I can post output from GDB (or strace, provided I can
find
it).
