X11 Mathematica Fonts

Hello

I'm trying to run Mathematica 7 remotely but keep running into

xset:  bad font path element (#509), possible causes are:
   Directory does not exist or has wrong permissions
   Directory missing fonts.dir
   Incorrect font server address or syntax

I guess this has to do with the fact that Mathematica fonts are not installed on my local mac. Since I'm quite new to X11 can anyone advise me on the best way to install these fonts?
