I am seeing occassional problems copying between X11 clients
(e.g. xterms) and applications such as Safari on OS X 10.6.2 with
the standard Apple X11. In X11 Preferences->Pasteboard, I have
all items checked.
When this happens, copying with CMD-C, CMD-V doesn't work, with
wierd things coming out on the CMD-V.
This only seems to happen after I have switched between my PPC
Mac Mini and my Macbook Pro with a 2-port IOGear DVI KVM switch.
The keyboard is a Microsoft 4000 ``Natural'' running without the
M$ keyboard software on the Macbook Pro, but running it on the
Mini. On the Macbook Pro, I have the Option and Command keys
reversed in System Preferences so it works mostly like an Apple
keyboard.
Stopping and restarting X11 cures the problem for a while.
As I said, this is an intermittent problem, and does not occur
every time I switch between the machines.

The most serious doubt that has been thrown on the authenticity of the
biblical miracles is the fact that most of the witnesses in regard to
them were fishermen. -- Arthur Binstead
